We set off for Albury from Canberra after a bit of school work and an extended pack up. It was good to be on the road again. The countryside was really pretty, and we listened to Jack Thompson reading poetry by Banjo Patterson as we rolled along. A quick stop for lunch at Gundagai and the dog on the tuckerbox, and then on to Albury.
We had a quick stop in Holbrook to check out the submarine. There was more than one boy impressed with this but none more than captain spiderman.
We landed in Albury at a caravan park that was close to the airport and also close to Jayco where we had to get a couple of things fixed on the van the following day.
Emma flew out to Sydney to do a CHIP conference for four days, and that left the boys and I up to our own devices. However, it was a very busy day in Albury. I had to pack the van up and tow it to Jayco, go into town, get the kids school work done, have lumch, repair a punctured tyre, pick up the van and set it up again, get dinner and shop for food! It all went pretty smoothly considering...but the school work suffered a little to say the least. Here is a photo of the boys doing some reading (and reading eggs) while I'm on the phone to tyre repair places.

I think my favourite part of Albury was the breakfast in the camp kitchen on a nice cool morning.
