Cairns...we made it!
After our wild trip north, we reached the safe haven and kid heaven of the Cairns Coconut Resort. It really is set up so that the kids ALWAYS have something to do.
It was also great to catch up with the Spences, the kids had a super time ranging over the resort, from one activity to another. There were mostly smiles, except for from the mention of, to the end of, schoolwork. It was almost one of those situations where you just expect them back for meals.
We did a couple of side trips from here (Kuranda and Green Island) that have their own posts, and most of the week was spent so busy and lazily that we really don't have many photos. The Cairns Coconut was a hit!

It was good to get to a campground with all the facilities, and we celebrated with a fresh breakfast made in the Thermomix, with Mission Beach coconut, and dragonfruit from Rusty's Market in Cairns. Yum!
Rusty's Market in Cairns gets a special mention as the fruit and veg there was awesome, and cheap.
It was also nice to catch up with Aunty Margaret, who joined the Spences for the week.
